Technical Radio/cd problems

Hi all,

New to the forum and new to owning a Multi. Just some background I picked her up yesterday LHD (living in France) 2003 JTD elx Met grey.

So far I love it and its a great drive, But after 15-20 mins from the garage to home the stereo turn itself off! turned it back on again and carried on. However, after another 15-20 min it turned off again.

Also, the stereo does not come on or turn off with the ignition. :bang:

So I have searched but can only find something about the 20mins when the engine is off.

When I press the menu button I can not see anything to do with auto off/on. Also, when I press and hold the menu button to access 2nd menu (which has been suggested in other posts) the displays just says scan.:bang:

Any help or ideas would be most appreciated.

Problem sorted.....:slayer:
changed for aftermarket unit and now works no problems.

Looks like it may be an in-line fuse or some crossed cables. (or a crap stereo)
