Hi, new to the forum looking for some advice. I have recently brought a Grande Punto 06 Reg 1.4 8v, and noticed that the radiator was being held on by cable ties. Concerned by this, I took it to a nearby Formula One Auto centre to try and get some information as to why it was like this, they said that the housing that the radiator fits into had broken around the bottom and the previous owner used cable ties to hold the radiator in place. They had no idea what the part was and didn't even know if they could fit it. I'm seeking advice on what this part is and where could I get this part replaced? I live in South Birmingham area, I will try and upload photos to try and help out. Hope for reply, many thanks!

If I were you |I would speak to a reputable Fiat dealer who could shed some light on the issue. I have been using a Fiat garage in Cwmbran, which is about 75miles from Bromsgrove, they are superb on all fronts and their prices are only a fraction compared to other Fiat garages I have approached. I have a GP 1.9JTD, the clock reads just over 138k miles, and have been using that garage since 2009 when my car had covered 44k miles. Very highly recommended, give them a ring and ask for Dan, he is a mechanic by trade and he works at the reception, I think he will help you with your query.
