Styling Quborino side bars

Well I have just come back from a hand car wash! And when they went to clean the roof one big dude stood on the side bars and BANG!! The drivers side rear fixings bent and pulled out! So sat there with it dangling off! They all were saying that it shud have taken it cuz there ment to be stood on! I said not 22 stone! So they put it in the valet bay and re fixed it on! And seems solid and the wash was free! :bang:

A bolt with finger on that slips into a hole 2 at each end so 4 a side to help support it ! But not a really strong way to do it! More for show really ! The finger is what bent and then the massive weight pulled the thing out

Yes there were two washing it ! A small lad on the passenger side and he stood on the tyres ! But the big lad on the driver side used the side bars!!

Dickheads!! I'd be fuming if someone did that to my van!

But.... your bars have the foothold recess in, don't they? Mine are plain bars that don't tempt people to stand on them.

Moral of the story is, don't take your cars to car washes!
