We must be getting close to getting our hands on these babies by now. The waiting is killing me. I want to play with it now!

The diffs shouldn't be too much longer...
might have to pull out of this cos of money issues.

Doh! That's terrible news. If I wasn't going to the 'ring this month I'd cover yours. I could go for one in the road car as well as the track car. If it stretches to early July before delivery I'll possibly be interested in buying another.

Good news everyone!!!! I had an E-mail today from Quaife. Apparently the Diffs will be ready early next week.
I'll need to book a day off to go and collect them, so expect a week or two's delay.

Excellent news, we have one brand new 6 speed gearbox sat waiting with old diff removed, and correct bearing pullers have been bought to remove the bearings from standard diff. And has made a drift to fit the bearings again.
If anyone has any difficulty in fitting the diff i.e removing/fitting bearings, I know someone who will be free over next few months on a work sabatical who will for a small fee fit them to your car providing your current diff has correct ring gear. Baed in Towcester, near Silverstone easy access from A43, A5, M1 etc

I've got a new gearbox sitting in the garage waiting to go into the 500 and I'm thinking I might have to get cracking if I want to get it and the new diff stuck in before the 'Ring trip at the end of the month. I'm not sure how realistic that'll be. Hmm.
