Posting here for second time as it turns out it was the right place after all - thanks craigb244.

Looking for a suitable LSD for my 100HP classic Panda. Seems I finished the project just a little too late and missed out on this group buy.

I will have one for sure. My wheelspinning whilst cornering is awful! Is there any update on people dropping out and/or are the spares formally up for grabs Nigel?

You need bigger wheels :)

You still runing 13" on it? my sei was a death trap whel i ran 13x5" alloys, even with pirello pz700! with 14x6 the extra grip was VERY VERY noticable. Of course the LSD will help as well, hence why i want one :)

Going ultra sleeper, so bigger wheels are off for now. Already moved to 5" wheel from Punto, would go wider if I could find a steel 13"x6. Tyre choice is the biggest problem with 13s. Currently running brand new 165 wide Yokos which are fine for grip really, I just can't put the power down coming out of corners due to inside wheel not on the ground. No amount of grip will help this. When I fit my new suspension which is soooo much harder, the effect will be more pronounced as I should be able to corner twice as fast. I have an ATB diff in my Westfield and that turned it from death trap to powersliding beauty.

I hadn't considered banded steels. There is the issue of room on a Panda when you lower it 50mm. I would be left with poor every day tyre choice still though I suppose. I have some 14x6" Lancia alloys which go straight on TBH, but I'll wait to see what the thing is like with racing suspension on before I jump.

Lifting wheels: It is interesting that people are talking about lifting wheels and it just spinning. I compete in my Westfield and lift wheels on sprint circuits due to poor road surface or on circuits due to silly speeds/kerbs, etc. and I've never had the problem and with 190lb/ft torque, I would notice. This may be a technical possibility, but not one I have found to be an issue in real life.

Bonded crownwheels: If ePer seemingly lists one part number for the diff in my gearbox (Punto Mk2b 1.4 16v), is it new crownwheel time?

There are a few spares available. I have a couple, along with some others. Your name will go on the list.

I have decided to flee the country with all your money!!! You all fell for that one didn't you!!!! Just shows how easy it is to con money out of people these days.........

Wakes Up.........

I have just this minute ordered 20 Diffs from Quaife, and paid a £3k deposit, so I'm now out of pocket!!!:bang:

I am still awaiting deposits from Rallycinq and J333 EVO, for their orders.

Oh yeah.... I got em down to £500 + VAT each as well. What a great guy I am!!!

Kristian I think you'll find that £500 x 1.15 = £575 so take off £135 & you get £440 unless I've missed something else along the line? (y)

Yep, you are correct. This group buy is at £500 + VAT plus Delivery.

Any further diffs sold will be higher than that. The price will be agreed between the people with "Extra's" I believe. Quaifes retail will be nearer the £800 mark from memory..
