Isn't there rules about posting Porn on FF?
We've not seen it as Emma and I are on holiday, but have been informed that our diffs were collected and one has been fitted already and is superb quality.

I think I should put a deadline on the time given to collect these Diffs. What does everyone else think??

So, Jon is the first person on the Planet to ever fit a Quaife diff into a Fire 'Box. Well done. I take it he had the right shims??

Curious how the fitting went, and how it now handles
I hope not but untill I get a new job its tight. IIRC i paid about 400 off? (cant check atm as main computer is dead) so if anyone wants it but cant get all the cash they can pay the rest off and pay me the rest when they can.
*edit* paid 300 off, diffs are 575 right?... not tooo bad then so ill try get the money asap.

I found out the other night that Quaife must of done a run of these a good few years back as my mate has one or maybe just a one off- Joined

Picked mine up today, had a good look at all nige's toys including the mustang and panda. Great guy, and a nice house and garage that for sure!

rest assured that Quaife have never made a diff for the Fire box. There is a car out there with a different Quaife diff fitted apparently?? I mailed the guy and he said it was a cut and shut job.

Your Diff will be mailed in the morning. Expect delivery on Tuesday??
M Barnes has one
said its in hes shed cos these are no good for rally cars(off road) so he had a locking diff iirc
Hi Nigel,
Jon bought new pullers a few months back, and made a bearing drift in anticipation of fitting the diff as we had a near zero miles new 6 speed box, which he took apart and removed all the bearings, crown wheel etc from standard diff and fitted the Quaife one with those no problems reported on re-fitting. I haven't seen it yet only going on text message information, going to look at it today now we are back home.
Others may encounter problems fitting if they do not have the correct tools, Jon will for a small fee fit the diff for anyone willing to travel down to him.

I have just joined FF coz wanted to ask you guys, exthusiastic Fiat fans, one technical question on 2009 Abarth Grande Punto 1.4L Turbo, which my Japanese friend has got in Japan, and Quaife QDF25B.
Does anyone know if the QDF25B will fit to M32 gearbox of the car without any major issues??
I have asked Quaife, but they could not give me a definite answer...
Any help will be appreciated!

J333EVO, can you PM his contact details. I'd be interested in this. I've been looking around locally but it sounds like Jon has done it, knows what he's doing and honestly, I'd rather give the money to someone's mate than a random shop. I've got a brand spanking new 6 speed sitting on the shelf along with the diff I picked up from Nigel the other day and I can travel to wherever he is.
