Hi 🙂

I take it that this is a DPF equipped engine?

Are you familiar with removing the airbox/engine cover?

Look at post 18 on here for a helpful video (old.. But possibly unchanged in principle)

So we have a dualogic gearbox that's broken down and it's a 1.3D
AA Mechanic said Fault was the Throttle sensor on Engine..
With according to the AA an engine sensor
Had warning on Dash Saying Check Transmission
And the dash saying its a gearbox error
See Handbook I've ordered new Sensor but does anyone know where it is located under The Bonnet On Engine or Gearbox...Thanks
First step would be to read the actual code

It's likely to be one of the sensors on the gearbox, there's a couple

I doubt the throttle position sensor would give a check transition error

I found location I took coolant tank off it is easy to get too now

I am at confused dot com

That's the Gear Engagement Sensor

Not the same as the title or the first photo

But quite likely to give the dash error for gearbox

Scanner probable give a P0914? error

The electric connector has a latch, you have to push it down before pulling part

OK thanks very much bit confused with the proper name for it...🤣

Most of these type of sensor plugs have a toggle / latch

You have to free that latch then try a wriggle...
See if it will go slacker..
Then gently pull

If it was me.. I would wriggle the connector a little..
The reconnect the battery🤔

Turn on ignition.. See if the error has gone

As I said, sensors are pretty tough.. It's as likely to be a poor connection 😉
