Punto Sporting gearbox?

Hi all,

I have a problem with my car that i hope someone could help with....
It makes a slight knocking noise from under the bonnet when being revved at both idle and when moving forward, then when i put her into reverse under a little pressure - either due to the weight of a full car, reversing up hill or if i let the revs run low - she makes a REALLY distinctive knocking noise!!

Plus under acceleration, if I engage the clutch quickly, there is another knock. Just the same as the 'reversing' knock, except it is a singular one rather than several..... PLEASE, someone help me save my baby. i will be forever grateful :worship:

Probably the rear gearbox mount is shot. But ask one of the modertors to move it into the right section and you'll get more feedback -- this section is for non model specific chit chat.
