Punto MK2b 17'' wheels? Or 15''?

Hi guys.


In a bit of a rut here, i have an MK2B Punto and it dosn't have alloys (as of yet). I'm wanting to put some one it, and I kinda want to put some 17's on it but i'm confused.

I've been looking around and it seems that 17's may cause a few problems, although, if i can overcome them i will cos i want some low profile 17's.

I was just wondering where I could purchase/what are the sizes I need for my car and also what any of you guys recommend from previous experiences etc.

I have the 3 door active 8v.

So does that mean i'll get away with putting 17's on it?

should do but 15"s look better IMO
have a look through the members motor thread to get an idea

17s will fit, but will slow an 8v down a lot and strain your diff.
15s an slam it will be better

I've been looking around and i'm liking the punto's with these deep dish alloys, it looks really good; anyone know where i can buy any that will fit my car.
