Hello everyone, I have just joined the forum to write a post about my Punto W reg.
Just to let you know I've been reading a lot on here without polluting the forum with my questions because in 90% of cases I've found the right answer to my problems. Amazing and scary at the same time. :D

Ok. looks like my Punto switches the radiator fan after a couple of miles and as soon the engine is warm the fan keeps spinning at regular intervals.
I did check the coolant level, topped up but doesn't help.
I was reading on here about the switch that turns the fan on that could be gone. Is this the case? Do I need to give you more info about it?

Thank you for any help that you can give.

Peace!

Do you have a boggo standard dash or one with a temperature guage

As the car may be starting to get hot - the fan kicks in and keeps it about right

tbh at this time of year, you'll probably find it hard to make the fan kick in, as its getting cool now

Hi, I haven't a temp gauge so I can't see any overheathing happening. And yes, it was harder to make the fan kick in on the past summer days than now.
Dunno what to think

Hi guys, sorry if I reply just now but I work weekends :)
The car looks fine. It is 13 yo and probably showing some age related issues.
I'll keep an eye this week again.

Thanks for your replies!

Fran :)
