Hello everyone.
I have a 2002 Mk2 punto 1.2 8v. I got this extremely cheap. So far my list of mods is
Exterior:
HID Headlights
Blue Steels
Tinted rear 3
Debadged boot
Door strips removed
Stickerbombed front N/S fender + Petrol cap
Exhaust tip
Mk2b rear lights
Interior:
Alfa 156 front leather seats
Removed rear seats + re carpeted the back
Richbrook chrome gear knob
ICE:
Kenwood HU
Sony Xplod 6.5" front foor speakers
Edge 4" rear speakers
Custom parcel shelf w/ 2x 6.5" Fli components + 2x Fli 6x9's
1200w Fli active sub enclosure with MB Quartz dual coil speaker.
Performance:
K&N air filter
Pirahna grooved and notched front discs
EBC Greenstuff pads
Future mods:
rear drums to be converted to performance discs + pads
20mm wheel spacers all round
Lowered by 50mm
Wider wheels
Sideskirts (already bought, waiting to fit)
Abarth front bumper
Performance exhaust
Abarth 1.8HGT engine
So... My question is. With all this work carried out will it be okay to put the 1.8 in there? Will i be able to get the power down? will i need to strengthen anything? Will simply upgrading to better discs and pads all round be enough work done to the brakes? Any advice would be hugely appreciated. This car is still very much a work in progress and have only had it since january. Will upload photos soon. Thanks in advance!
