Styling Punto Mk1 Exhaust

Hi, i have a fiat punto mk1 60, i am looking into getting a new exhaust to replace the standard one i have got atm. i want one that sounds nice with that rumble sound, anyone got any ideas what one to go for, links would be great, cheers :slayer:

just go to an exhaust place and get them to make you a custom one,you can then choose what noise you want and what tip you want on the end

My Mk1 60 got a new exhaust and is not exactly quite. I reacon if you want some more noise just cut off your existing backbox and replace it with a custom made straight through bigger bore silencer. You will need to addapt it to fit the current pipe and body fitting, hence the need to go to an exhaust place.

l'd say 100-150 quid maybe more maybe less not quite sure

i have found a ashleys back box direct fit for a fiat punto mk1 93>99 do you think that would be a good alternative........ ?

ashley backboxes are nice someone on here has one on there mk2,but im sure an exhaust place would charge for fitting (unless you fit it yourself )
just ask a exhaust place near you for a quote to see how much it would be on top to fit it and compare that with the price for a whole exhaust

Well i would be able to fit it myself cuz im a mechanic apprentice, so do you think thats worth it yeah...

oh yeah, and might sound like a stupid question but are they road legall cus there rather loud lmao

Well, I would ask if they show you a picture of the whole exhaust. It should also be a direct fit, which means on a Mk1 it should be a CAT back system as on Mk1 the back box also includes the middle silencer.

yeah i have seen a ashleys full system, middle silencer and backbox, now would it just fit straight onto the standard front section of my pipe....... lol not any good with the technical stuff
