Tuning punto mk1 engine tuning

hi, i would like to know if i can add a bit more power to my punto mk 1 turbo diesel.most important a bit more torque as with the ac on going up the hils is a mision imposible :bangreally slows the car) ...any help will be appreciated...ty

K&n style air filters (cone or panel) will let your engine breath a bit better, also reduce turbo lag quite a bit. could maybe even add a dump valve to keep the turbo spinning when decelerating so that you can get up to speed a bit quicker.

Dump valve is pointless on a diesel as there is no throttle.

If its got electronic control (ECU) it should be possible to have it chipped/remapped.

If its not got one, an intercooler will give up to 10% more power. Get one from a GT.
