Just a couple of questions,

1. Does a Punto GT fan switch have the same connector as a Cinq one?

2. If I get the above, would it be worth making a low temp thermostat as other members have?

Thanks.

no. the GT switch has three connections on it. stage one, stage 2 and ground/output. you will need the wiring off a GT, or the appropiate bits from FIAT to build the connector.

it depends on your engine spec. i have a low temp stat, and a GT switch but then my engine is far from stock!

You're welcome.

I think a PGT fan switch is overkill for standard or even lidlly breathed on stuff.

Low temp stat and good rad condition is more than enough.

had the rad off today and got some photos that may (or may not) help.

Thanks for your replies. Was just looking for opinions really 'cos i'm gonna be replacing them both soon. A low temp thermostat should do the trick for me then.

Just another question on the topic of fan switches  , will the fan switch in the picture (For an Uno 45) work for a Cinq if I remove the wires from the connector?
