just bought some of them with 185/55/r14 tyres on and i fitted them but i only realised my car wouldnt move once i had put them all on lol they rubbed well to much. so would it be best gettin 175/55 tyres or just fit spacers?

thanks kris

i had 185/55's on my old cinq, with spacers and they still occasionally rubbed, infact the tyres were one part of why it rolled over (the tyre beried itself into the wheel well! :()

personally id get some smaller tyres as the 185/55s are to large!

Look at the side of the rim of the wheel IIRC Punto GT wheels are stamped ET45 so way incorrect for a Cinq. So you need to run 20mm spacers at front and 10mm spacers at rear otherwise the track is far to narrow on the car, the reason the car doesn't move is the wheels are probably hitting off the struts or other suspension components, best size of tyre to go for is a 185/50 15.

Of course like most things on here it has been covered many many times and all the naswers you need ar on here already if you bothered to search or even read the information stamped on the wheel.

Aaron.
