General punto drive shaft

hi guys

hoping to get a few quick replies, my partner and father-in-law are in the proccess of fitting a new passenger side drivers shaft universal arm (i believe lol).
Taken tire off etc and removed biggest part of the old one but the cv joint bit on the other end by the engine is being stubborn, brother in law insists with a little prying it should pop out but it just aint budging. can some of you good fellows give us a clue?

it just pops out on the 1.1 and 1.2 not sure about a 1.6 though

thanks for the reply. brother-in-law was right then as ours is a 1.2 just seem to be having trouble budging it, being a stubborn so n so bit like its owner haha

we got it all sorted, only thing now is when it's driven it's making a clicking sound is this a sign that the arm is not in properly or is it something else?

they may have bent the disk guard

a bit of metal behind the brake disk, easy to check an fix
