Punto 1.4 16v sporting vvt engine

Hi guys i have just bought a punto sporting, drives great and it's fantastic on fuel. No engine light on.

It has a slight missfire from cold.
And is down on power between 1000rpm and 2500rpm.
If you hit 3000rpm upwards it pulls fine.

Anyone had a similar issue?

hi, and welcome,
sounds like a punto question,


remove spark plugs, check gaps/ condition

then look at the related posts in punto 2/b section.
