ps3 live iplayer problem

Hi
when i watch things live through iplayer on the ps3 (i.e. match of the day, six nations) the picture is really juddery. Its not like normal lagging of anything, things moving judder around. Watching other stuff on iplayer is fine. Im sure iv watched a couple of things live through it before and didnt have any problems. The sound is fine aswell.

Anyone got any ideas what the problem could be? My system is fully up to date

ahh i thought it gave a live feed all the time
so how do you know when a live prog is on?

well actually i think there is a live feed on from 19.00 but you have to put in the URL rather than just accessing it through the ps3 iplayer feature (for some reason they dont have the link to this on the ps3 version of iplayer)

If not then the six nations are on this weekend between about 2-6.00 which you just get on through bbc sports

If you could try either of those ways then that would be great

The six nations will be on between 2-7. If you just go onto bbc sport using your interenet browser and click on the "live-six nations" which is usually on the right hand side of the page. that would be great

juddery for me
looks more like a software issue than buffering TBH
im on 20MB cable with a gigabit network so shouldnt be an issue

think its an issue between the beeb and the ps3 browser TBH

maybe run opera in linux?
