i was thinking of getting avo's would you say they are worth it.

I've got the AVO springs, they seem very good and I'm now tempted to swap to the adjustable dampers as they are pretty cheap. Highly recommended

I do this on the integrale on the drive back after every sprint.... having siad that it does beg the question how many coppers would think about it anyway?

Driving with the numbers showing means you are competing and the police would be looking for an insurance policy endorsed for motorsport use, which most policies specifically exclude.

Would just save a lot of explaining in the event of a 'pull'.

Interesting though that a few cars over the years have been available with numbers as fitted by the manufacturer - I can think of special edition Minis, Beetles and Imprezas that i've seen.

Given how unique it looks now I kinda figure they'll pull me if they want anyway.

yeah i would expect they would want to check its in road legal spec regardless of the numbers
