OK, Where do I start. First of all the rear 6*9's are popping loudly. I do have both the fronts & rears on the amp plus the sub. The subs not kicking and the whole system just sounds s.hit in general.

Engine noise coming through the speakers. As far as I can see the amps been earthed properly on bare metal. No matter where I put the power cable I'm still getting interference.

Any ideas. Anyone??

Thanks

so u have all this stuff running one one amp?.... you need to spend ages setting it up.. frikkin nightmare i find when its all on one amp...

do u have lpf and hpf settings for the seperate channels then? try setting them up seperately... i.e. plug in just the 6x9s and adjust them on their channel to sound good.. then the others...

if your getting poor sound quality then you may have damaged the 6x9s (smell near the magnet for a burning smell too)... try attaching them direct to the hu and seeing if you still get the noise... (distinguishing whether its the amp) or just try another amp lol...

oh oh.. and see whether the amp runs at 2 or 4 ohms... think your 6x9s will be 4..

tbh... the amp looks a bit busy to me.. id have ur bass sep to your louspeakers if it were me

let us know how you go

Re: Problems with ICE (Sei)

right, this is what I have done: connected the 6*9's together with the fronts to the 2 channels (front) on the amp. The sub has been connected to the rear part of the amp so I'm abled to control the bass & input level. The systems sounds how it should, banging (it's a Grand Touring amp 4 channel)

Doing this seems to have stopped the constant hissing through the system, a hissing as I have an FM station on something. Don't know about the engine noise though. The passenger side electric window has seemed to have stopped going through the speakers. All this just by taking the speaker connections off and re-doing the whole thing.

Any other thoughts & suggestions welcome

Thanks
