Joe shut up about anything other than IE lol....

I have had signatures off for the last hour and not one problem.

Your just too stubborn. Its like biting off your nose to spite your face.... ;)

Its a problem with the forum, as a result of the codes.

Well I'v been using IE for about an hour too with sigs on, and no problems (apart from having no tabbed browsing, and all my favorites are gone, and viewing page source gives you notepad instead of syntax highlighted view)

EDIT: Paul... GET FIREFOX

Well, I don't get it crashing in any browser.

It could be a dodgy image, (if it has dodgy transparency in it, or some form of bad alpha layer or is just corrupted).
It is also possible that it's completely random, and you're just jumping to conclusions to say it's the forum :)

I never have issues with crashing, along with most people on this forum, it's too much of a coincidence. Photobucket seems to be giving cookies now, never noticed if they do before, an issue?

Notepad?? I axed that for edit plus yonks ago... colourised syntax is a lifesaver (a lot of the time). Still Firefox is a must for anyone using the internet imho. It actually shows web pages as they're designed (if the were designed properly, and not designed with IE in mind)

Right, everytime I posted on this thread the browser crashed. I just turned sigs off and posted with no problem. It is definitely someones signature.

Its likely mine , stu's and fiatpuntosx's one...its was happening earlier.

I want to know why?

Could sloganiser be causing the problem?

Good question, but its just an image created dynamicly, perhaps should check the slogniser site...

it's just before it says america's army...

someone had a lot of fun with that flash text effect program... ewww. it's an ungly site...

but an swf is a flash file, so someonees trying to link directly and include a flash file, that could cause all sorts of odd behaviour (since it's obviously trying to include it but failing.

So what do i need to get rid of? Or don't we know yet?

Stupid IE, get FireFox, just look at its elegance:

you have a small included flash file in the middle of your sig, just before America's Army, what is it?

it's embedded as an image, but it's a flash file, that could definately cause a crash in IE. since IE is toss.
