my sister has a fiat punto shes having a problem with it when shes driving it loses power she puts her foot down its still running but no power then it cuts out then sometimes it will work fine so not sure what problem is. anybody have an idea????

he he... i would be surprise, if there wouldn be problems with punto.
could dirty fuelfilter in petrol tank.... or fuel pump on the way out. from your description cant get clue.
when car looses power, does all cylinders working ? no misfiring ?

To have a hope in hell of getting to the bottom of it people will need to know which Punto it is (apart, thaty is, from your sister's).

That's a power steering fault.
If it has power steering, chances are that it's OBD2 compliant. May be worthwhile taking it to a backstreet garage and getting the codes read. Post the codes here.
