problem with oil vapour heater

Hi thank you for accepting me. I hope someone can give me some info regarding my 2018 Fiat Ducato. there seems to be a fault with the oil vapour heater or blow by heater, however I was told that that part isn't available anymore but there is a modified part available. I am not a mechanic but I would have expected Fiat to hold parts for more than 6 years. has anyone come across the same problem
