Problem with Headlight (MK2 Punto)

Hey, i crashed my passenger side and had to have the headlight, wing, bonnet and bumper replaced, I have an issue with the headlight and a large gap arround it, see pics:

Drivers Side (fine):

Passenger Side (not fine):

Now they used non offical parts however I have a feeling its the headlight that is the wrong shape/fit. is it possible its from a different model? should i buy a new light and hope it fits?

TBH yours look better than both my mk2s that have had no damage or been replaced, i have always noticed that mk2s always sit a bit out of line around the headlights maybe the head light just needs moving a bit till it looks best? As for different headlights im pretty sure that there all the same (99-03) but am not 100%

Hmmm, ok. by mk2s do you mean Mk2's as in plural or Mk2 sporting? mines just a bog standard Mk2.

Have both, only thing i can suggest from the picture is the headlight that looks wrong is pointing up meaning that the top is not sitting flush with the bonnet, open the bonnet and just look at both headlights and check that they both look aligned the same.

Because i have two puntos in my house, if i find a problem i often just refer to the other one, has helped me many times before

Yea will have a look, may take it out and re-mount, shame i dont have another punto i could try a different light in it see if its the bodywork or the non fiat part :\

You sorted this mate? Was gonna say you could come have a look at mine seen as we live kinda close lol mines a sporting but dont think it makes a difference

No i didnt, im thinking of going down the scrappy and trying another headlight see if it fits.. Can meet up if you want some time. Where/whens good for you?

try refitting it do u know 2 fit the headlights flush u have to take the bumper off

Hopefully if this york meet happens then il be there so you can have a look then if you want but if i cant make it or anything then we can arrange to meet some other time if its not sorted

Yea i understand this gunna take it off at the weekend and see if i can move it at-all.
