Problem with Blue Key

Hi All,

I have two blues keys and a red one.

Unfortunately, the remote part of one blue key does not work. As this is programmable using the red key, would just replacing the little circuit board with one from another functioning blue key and then reprogramming it give me two working blue keys again.

If it would, does anyone have a spare blue key from a scrapped bravo that they would be happy to part with?

I would compensate up to the price of a pint.

Is the non working blue key broken? It may have lost the code.

Have you tried reactivating it with the ceiling light technique?

I haven't yet tried to reactivate it. When you press the little button, the red light does not show. New bateries have been tried.

Before stopping working completely, when it did work, the red light would stay on for about 7 seconds and it would set the immobiliser and then deactivate the alarm!

What is the ceiling light method? As the red light does not come on at all, I was thinking it was completely defunct.

Chech the solder points on the switch as they get damaged very easily. Resolder and it should work but be careful.

Also maybe silly answer, but have you changed the battery?

You cant re-activate anything unless you have one of the original codes from remote/s.
Each remote has a fixed code, so no point in buying another one even if you can get it for a pint!. lol or even a new one is u/s without the original codes. Best bet is to get it repaired.
BTW it takes 2x 3v batts in series to give 6volts for unit to operate.
