I have a 1992 1.6cc Fiat Bravo(petrol) with a manual choke. Recently I have had problems starting the car in damp / wet conditions, especially if the car has not been used for a while. So far I have replaced the ignition leads, the distributor cap, the rotor arm , and the battery and tried to ensure everything is kept cosy and dry by spraying with Holz's Damp Start Autoplast.
The car has been "looked at" by three different garages and although they have checked over the ignition / carburation and managed to get the car going this doesn't stop the problem from re-occuring.

Any bright ideas please

Thanks

David

How old are your spark plugs? If more than 20000 miles, replace them regardles of their looks. If less... replace them but check the old ones for signs of problems (like black or bright red color of sparkling part, traces of engine oil and such, you could use google.com or altavista.com to get full list of possible problems and symptoms).
