coldest it got was -4 overnight here in northwest.Its 0 during the day.
as you can imagine everyones whingin about the weather,BUT in nov 2010-jan 2011 we had snow..and alot of it

Last Weds and Thurs it reached -7 overnight
On Saturady Snow dropped on most of east lacs from Blackburn to the east and further south than Manchester...
I took a fairly hair raising drive to Bury that night and nearly put my HGT into the central barrier... and inadvertly plowed through 2ft of snow when i almost missed my turn off on the M66, the amount of snow that hit my window screen in one go it was like an avalanch.

You chaps still don't use winter tires ? Or is still plow shortage in UK like a few years ago ?
