Hi Guys. Im going to be buying a palio 1.6 very soon. I want to know what all i can do to it (with costings if possible) to make it a good drag car which can be used as an everyday car too. The more the details the better.

a palio drag car! are you sure that is a good idea? the palio isnt very suitable, so it wont be cheap. you wont be able to use the 1.6 engine, it only has 100bhp, there is no point modifying that engine because it cant reliably give much more no matter how much money you spend (plus it would cost a hell of a lot to get significantly more power), so scrap the 1.6 engine and fit something more suitable, such as the fiat coupe 2.0 20v turbo, then remap it to give well over 200bhp. upgrade the brakes and suspension and wheels/tyres, job done ready to drag.
