Technical Pre Cat Temp Sensor replacement

Hi all, just replaced the Pre Cat Temp sensor on my twin EGR 2016 2.3 Ducato, does this need to be relearned by the ECU using Multiecuscan? I couldn’t see anything in the menu for it so just double checking I am not missing something.

There's no such option in the MES, so programming probably isn't necessary. The DPF also has a temperature sensor before and after the DPF. It's worth checking if the readings are similar when driving calmly. Assuming the filter does not regenerate

No calibration - it is simply a NTC temp sensor and manufactured to reasonably tight tolerances so direct swapping can be carried out without any calibration required.

makes it easier to hold and close the tailgate."

Deleted now.
Away in van and BT disappeared. Random WiFi and me moving on. My wife sorted my internet (I'm incompetent) and I assumed the reply was lost.
