Is the 68r socket for the TomTom live at all times or does the ignition need to be switched on.
Reason I ask is the battery in the TomTom I have no longer keeps its charge. I have yet to purchase the cradle for the 68r socket but a little expensive around £55. However if the socket is live at all times this would be quite useful as the stop start function would not switch the satnav off.
