Power Steering Probs!

Hi Guys!

Can anyone tell me what this part is called?...its the two wires that connect on to the power steering pump by a brass nut fitting! the problem is its leaking fluid from the connection!...and I cant locate the part on-line without knowing what its called! also does anyone know what causes this problem?

Havent got the car here at the moment! it lost a lot of fluid outside my mum's so had to leave it there! but its basically the two wires in sleaving that connects to the top of the power steering pump!..then travels up through the timing belt cover! it then comes out above the cover at the top and connects in to a wiring loom!...hope this helps babe?

Anyway, i think i have this problem too but the leak isnt massive. I would be interested to know how much this bit is. Is your bit down below the battery, sitting almost at the bottom of the engine bay?

I do like to blow! but not trumpets.....!!..lol

The part is actually connected to the pump! near the pully, it go's into a brass nut!...it looks a bit like a tube but its actually two wires inside a black plastic sleaving! if that makes sence??

Anyway, im sure someone posted a link to a web based ePer program (which will help you find the bit youre looking for)

Think it may have been Sven, but im not sure.

Thanks hun!...but sorry' its none of them parts!! it sounds stupid but its actually a wiring part, it does look like a fluid tube though! think it must be some kind of sensor!
