Technical Power Steering Failure

I think its more likely to loose the power assistance Dont know how we all managed in the days before power steering :shrug: (then again cars wernt so heavy)

Cars without power steering will be heavier to steer when the power fails than a car desingned without power steering. This is due to the dependancy put on power steering with cars supplied with this option.

Sorry if my post wasn't clear.

When a car with power steering, loses it's power steering then the steering becomes heavy.

But this will feel heavier than a car which is designed without power steering, due to the dependancy power steering cars have on the power steering itself.
