Technical Power source to Dashboard

Hi all,

Recently purchased a snooper 3zero (speed camera detector) and was wondering the best way to get the power leads into the cabin from the car battery as I am fed up of dangling wires!!!

Link into the back of the fag lighter it will come on with the ignition then

Black wire is -

Red is +

Yellow is side light on

I'd concur with Andy.
It's a bit of a faff, but less of a faff than running from the battery.
It's neater and tidier, and already covered by a fuse. (although another inline fuse wouldn't go a miss)
Pop the gear gator off to get to the wires.
Running to the front requires the removal of the centre console side covers.
Pull the side cover from the fake vents, until the clips have detatched, then slide rearwards to remove.

Nice bit of info there guys where would you take a feed from for boost gauge to light up with sidelights, i never connected to power as i havent finished the fibreglassing

Like Andy mentioned, the yellow wire on the fag lighter comes on with the side lights, so this would be a great place to tap in for a lighting feed.
