driving tonight back from work and for maybe 1 sec if that the dashboard lights came on (just like when the ignition is turned) and the head lights when out then it all came back on but during this the engine didnt turn off it was still running? time didnt reset or anythin so im really confused. any ideas?

Give it a chance mate, looks like you posted this around midnight last night 
probably lost power to the dashboard completely it would appear but im struggling to think how hmmm..its still abit early for me ....
