I said preferably 0 guage 2 or 4 will suffice but just saying 0 is better.

And some information on caps that will give you an idea of why some of us dont recommend them.

I had taken some of this into consideration through eloctronic sense.

When my previous Alternator I made sure I asked for that discharges more AMPs to be installed incase I should ever do sounds, as I result my cars ALTis 60 or 65 AMPs instead of the normal 50 or 55 AMPs.

Tis one step in the right direction

Now add in a cap or two and the system now charges at 13.4v

Now your system will still dip close to the same 12.4v, but the high is now only 13.4= a 1 volt swing

Now your headlights dim half as much because there is only half the swing in voltage.

No-one said you were wrong. The 'evening out' of the voltage is not the reason why caps are relatively ineffective. The rest of that link deals with how a cap acts a leech on the charging system, which doesn't help the system.
