Hi
So those that dont know, ive just had an engine transplant on my Bravo 1.6 .
I've just noticed something about the revs, drove it home from work, parked it - and then came back to it about 20 mins later (so engine was still warm).
Started it up, and all was well, but as the initial "startup revs" died down to the idle speed (800rpm) it kept dropping... and dropping.. til about 300rpm.. then shot back up to 800.
When engine is cold its fine..
Would it be a problem with the idle control valve?
Edit: Also, when its idling, and i do something such as put the elec window down, or turn the steering wheel - the revs dip a little.. (never used to happen before the cambelt incident..)
p.s. Ash G - i hate that mk2 gearbox
Thanks
