As above guys, I will be storing alot of films/programmes and music to the hard drive, are they able to play the music through the media player as well as store all my needs?

The only issue I had with my portable HDD was that the Blue & Me couldn't provide enough power to the drive. I assume it'd read it like a normal flash drive.

you can use only the 1,8 inches harddisc to use in the blue & me system

These harddisc don't uses any extra power, but it's expensiver then a 16 gb usb stick of Sandisk. I buyed one for 22 euro

:p

You can use a 2.5" if you get a cigarette lighter socket to USB adapter. You'll be limited to 32Gb if you format it from Windows but you can use a free piece of software called FATformatter

tokiwa.qee.jp/EN/Fat32Formatter/index.html

or command line format x: /FS:FAT32
