Technical Poor radio reception. Aerial antenna base replacement?

I was actually looking to get the whole piece replaced. There’s only one connector on but the ones online I’ve found are female connectors not male. I’ll keep looking

I pulled back the head lining enough to find the aerial connector plug. A piece of wire (could have been coathanger or something slightly smaller) pushed in to the centre of the coaxial plug going to the radio gave a good radio reception and was a useful temporary fix while I looked for a replacement antenna.

So I’ve just fitted this part and I can now get most radio stations

People following this thread, be careful

There is at least 4 different Arial bases

1 lead passive, no electronics the one above
1 lead active
2 leads
3 leads

I don't know which were fitted to which model

I thought the passive was just on the 1.1 active, the fact is now been found on a dynamic, means my original guess was incorrect, the simplest way is to look at your old one first before ordering
