General Polish/Slovakian meet

I'd like to inform that we had a meet last weekend. And it was an international meet One crew came from Slovakia - Tibor from Poprad, known on FF as Panda 4x4 (Pandik), with his father. just how do you waterproof that distributor? hehe

I don't know, it's the new owner's problem But everything worked fine

I use a rubber "cover" to protect the distributor{ cover comes from some old BMW ,and there it protected the coil, not distributor, but it is made of rubber and can handle panda's distributor as well} I also moved the coil higher, made some aluminium cover and put ht leads in to the "plastic tubings"{ cant find the word for that, it is visible on the photo}. Befote this "improvements"it happened twice that after rallying in very deep puddles I've stalled the engine because there was a significant amount of water on the coil , distributor and cables.Now there is no problem when panda wants to swim

yeah that's fantastic. i will be sure to look for that BMW water proof cover for the distributor.
it does fit the panda well! can you remember what BMW it came off?

i would ask a few more questions.. but this is not the thread for it
