Technical Points? Help?

I'm having trouble tracking down a set of points for the 1000 Fire dizy I've got. It's a Magneti Marelli (Is that how you spell it?)

Anyone got a set, can get me a set or point me in the direction of a some one who will post me a set? I've tried FIAT and they're discontinued and the local dealer thinks 4x4 ones will fit (yeah, right... eeek!)

Ah... Had a brain wave and got a set from Ricambi

i see Ricambi had brand new white cap dizzy the other day, was £120 though

how much was your points? pander points not cheap any where no more local motor factors charged £15 for a set for the 750 i nearly fainted, last time i bought points before that they was £2.50 ish

I went for a wee service kit type one for £40....

Still way too much, will look into electronic ignition soon I think

Same magnet mareli ones...any probs Jim and i could pick you up a set...

People with these cars should seriously consider buying a Boyer Bransdon conductive discharge module that uses the points and all the rest of the ignition system, but will make the points last for the life of the car and improve starting, running and MPG. Now you have a nice clean new set of points, now would be the perfect time to upgrade and never shell out again.

£30 all in when I got one before Christmas.

Great stuff about the Boyer...used to have one on my old Triumph motorbike and did not know you could get one for a panda!!!
