Questions about bottom plate that front bump stop sits into / holds top of spring

1. What is it officially called?
2. Should it be bent off centre - see photo
3. Where can I get replacement if cream crackerd ?

Many thanks for any help

Im pretty sure thay are not too flat by design.. ;)

Stock part.. so usual sources should supply one ok :)

Long time since I did the swaps covered in my GUIDE..

I think you are correct. Although I worked on quite a few different cars and might be mixing them up. Something like 80% sure

if it was me I would compare both sides.

Yes stupidly I did other side 2 weeks ago ... then promptly forgot if it was bent ... although it didn’t raise alarm bells then , so have a feeling it wasn’t

The spring top plates look fine to me (a bit rusty maybe), I replaced mine and the 27mm nuts that hold them on at the beginning of the year as I wanted to build up the struts before I needed them to make fitting them quicker. I still have the original plates, nuts, springs and top mounts.:)
