Please help?!!

Hi all,

I am having problems with a Fiat Bravo 1.4 SE (S reg).

For a while now the spark plug looking light has kept coming on.

The car has been stalling a lot when idling so I tried changing the throttle body - this made no difference.

I took it to a garage to run diagnostics. They noticed the manifold was blowing so they investigated further and found a large crack in the lower manifold. This was replaced along with new gaskets and the car is MUCH better.

My problem is that the spark plug (? looks like this anyway) light still comes on from time to time. When the light comes on I've noticed that when changing into 3rd or 5th there is absolutely no acceleration at all. It is like all power from the engine is cut off when this light is on.


Please can someone advise as to what I should do next?

This looks like the injector light, Surprised the garage did not pick that up

if a warning light keeps coming on then it should be registered in the ecu. A diagnostic should pick up the error to help determine what the problem is, i think there is alot of things it could be, may be worth taking ur car to a different garage to see if they can pick up on the problem

The injector light on could mean lots of things. best way is to have a diagnostic done.

As I said, they did run diagnostics.

when was it last serviced?

i have a 1.4 too and when i had problems like this i got my car serviced and never had a problemsince...?

Not too long ago but it hasn't been driven for over a year.


Can anyone helps with the error codes?
