Have you thought about putting a 2.0l 20vt or 16vt engine from the Fiat Coupe?

Chris

yes i have but i think it would cost a lot. another problem - i dont know anybody who could change the engine.

as I said in my 1st reply.... The company that did make the turbo, don't anymore!

The 20vt conversion is the best way to go :)

Trust me :) :)

dont you guys think it would be better (and cheaper) if i sell my 1.8 and go for hgt??
dont know much about cars but i think its a big job to change engine

Expect to spend a fair bit of wonga changing the engine. If your looking for a cheaper option (and probably less trouble) the selling of the 1.8 and purchasing of a HGT is your easiest bet.
An engine conversion (to 2.0vt) will cost a lot and probably encounter a few problems along the way. However, the end result in a 20vt will be far superior to any standard HGT. BUT the HGT's are a lot of fun - and the noise.........mmmmmmm

was thinking that if you were in the south east i could do all the mechanicals for you at a cheaper price, then go to Turbo Jay to get the electronics sorted.

Or you could buy Ash G's 16v turbo bravo of him. Hes after circa 1800 for the car, but the shells need replacing (even after getting them done at a garage, you will have saved yourself a serious amount of money from doing the conversion yourself). Ash and I did the conersion and its not like we dont know what we are doing... you just have to ask the guys on here

wimmy one more question: if you had a choice what would you do? sell it or change engine??

I'm not wimmy, but i'd sell it.

I'd only change engine in a bravo for something REALLY good, like a coupe 20vt, or an alfa v6
