PLEASE HELP

I swapped out the radio in my car last night for another Fiat one (newer model) but it didn't require me to inpput the code for it to work. I never checked to see if the car would start & this morning my HGT refuses to fire up...

What's the deal & what do I have to do to get it started?


Please help, late for work...

Not sure, could it not of somehow (not sure why) drained the battery?? What are all your electrics like?

Does the radio actually work?

Have you tried taking the radio out then starting the car?

Electrics are fine, the radio works, the car turns over like okay it's like it tries to fire up but the imob.. won't let it start..

I'll try removing the radio now & see it that works.

Hmmm How Odd

Just on the phone to Woodcocks and after all this morning trying to get a spart of life as soon as I climb in the car with alan on the phone the HGT makes me out to be a liar & fires up no problem!

WTF is going on? Guess it didn't like being out in the rain last night instead of it's usual place in the garage.

He did suggest new plugs though so I'm just ordering me some of those NGK Iridium jobbies right now.

Does anyone recommend these or have any experience with them?

Do U have a engine blockade. Sorry if its not the right name, but Im not from England. Open the fuses on the right side of the dash and unlock the blockade whit your key. It is possible that U activated it.

The radio code has NOTHING to do with the immobiliser.

I bought those NGK Iridium jobs....made no difference to anything except my pocket! No need for that when the Bosch super 4's do just fine!

@Tom - I know that, but U know Fiat, it could have triggered it somehow and it was just a thought
