has anyone actually sold their Bravo on this forum before..do u know any good sites other than auto trader to advertise on ???? any help would be much appreciated

to be honest i think your best bet is to advertise in your local paper, the local version of "Free Ads" (as its call round here) or perhaps the local Auto Trader.

most people dont want to travel to far to buy a motor unless you have something special to sell.

there are cars sold on ebay, but i dont know any details.

Auto Trader

I used the Auto Trader internet to sell my 1.4.

I put it on line at 09:00 on the Wednesday, had three calls by 10:30 and the first one to get to me bought it (Thanks again Terry!).

I called 6 people back to tell them it was sold and sorry!

For £10 it was superb

Thanks very much for your help Nigel. Out of interest did you display a photograph of your 1.4 in your auto trader advert or did u just give a description?

Also, thankyou very much for your offer to advertise my car on your website. I have a description ready and will be hopefully getting it photographed on Monday using my mates digicam!!!

Hiya mate. If I were you I'd take out your radio (put back the original headunit) and sell it on its own. I'd also remove the wheels (assuming you still have the original 14 inch ones) and sell them seperately. The mods you have done will not add much to the value of the car - even though they probably look wicked - which is only about £4300 i'm afraid. The problem is that there are loads of 02 and 52 reg 80SXs on the market for £5-£5.5K which has destroyed the used values.

Autotrader online and your local autoweekly or something are the best places to advertise.
