Photoshop Challenge 21.4.05 :D

this is a sillty question im sure but i just come across this thread, and wanted to confirm a couple of things.
do you have to take the picture supplied at start and then using photo shop change the car into something else ?? thn post it back on this site by a certain dead line?

and b) can you use other programs as i dont have photoshop but i use paintshop pro 9 lots can i use that ?

Yes to it all fishdude I believe and the deadline I think is normally a week after it has been set?

all entries must be in by the 26th of this month! i dunno what time, cuz i dunno what time im home from work that day, but sometime on the 26th (y)

the point of it is to take a standard boring (or unusual) car, and then mod it to what YOU would like to see, showing imajination and skill :D

it must be obvious that the end result was made from the that car, so no maikng your own car, then saying "well i used the front wing" or someting :chin:

anther point is that it must be kinda realistic, so no wierd creations please ;)

Thats coming along very nicely Corey, looks a bit like a crossfire (y)

After a bit more work i am once again posting an update, I say update this time because I know i'm bound to think of something else..

I know this is not to everyones taste, i just wanted to see how far i could take this car and still be fairly happy with what i've done. It's certainly not something i would drive myself but i tried to make something that would be interesting to look at if it was in a show or somethin.

Cool! Need more spokes in the wheels though IMO.

I was actually thinking about putting a double layered set of spokes on it but i think i may leave it be for a few days. Way too many hours spent on this one for my liking, I should never have taken on such a drastic mod. ;)
Cheers for the comments Benny (y)

Yeah and as soon as you start puttin bigger wheels on and slammin it down, it makes the car look like it's a smaller car from a closer angle. So that don't help matters..

Oops. Then on the other hand, I haven't used any other pics, everything you see in mine, other than filling the background with magenta is part of the original image, just distorted and resized various bits and painted over and airbrushed certain other bits. But I will probably be using other pics for the mods that are to come.

I do really like it Neo, sorry for the late reply. There's something not quite right I can't put my finger on though....

It looks a little like the A3?

I still need a bit of time on it, but heres a photo i just took :D

EDIT- Dont you just hate it when that happens!

Looking good, other than I can't stand the Focus Estate shape, but still very good work and a good design.

Here's my very un Focus Estate like progress so far. I'm not sure it would be possible to discern the origin of this, but who gives a **** about votes anyway.

Couldn't do a lot yesterday, because the missus was using the puter for most of the day, so it looks like I have it all to do tonight and tomorrow night.
