BlackJTD is reasearching this for us 1.6/1.8 owners and he'll be posting up his findings shortly, well done to him and let's hope he finds a company who can re-map the ECU for our motors at a reasonable rate!

Well...i went on www.edworthys.co.uk and enquired about the stilo 1.6 engine ECU remap, this is the response i got:

"Please could you let me know if this vehicle has the Siemens or Bosch ECU on
it?

Once I know this I will be able to tell you if I can remap this for you

I hope that this is OK for you

I guess all 1.6 have the Bosch ECU, like mine.

Im unsure as to why the 1.6 cannot be remapped.

I know the ECU is old (tipo days) and therefore cannot be updated with the current software / gizmos that Angel Tuning have, but is it the case that it simply can't ever be done or is it that some investment is needed for new software / gizmos.

that would be the quivalent to £100,000.00 = 1 BHP... lol
