PC being an arse?

My PC is dead PSU blew and took out everything with it

So I'm on my Dad's PC trying to buy parts for a new one. But here's the really fun part, it WON'T let me onto overclockers UK to buy stuff. It's not down as I've got people to check, But it just won't get on there. It tries for ages then says there may be a network connection. There's no filter on the PC and I've experimented turning the firewall off but it just won't do it
Also he's on an ultrafast Broadband router (same as the one I was on before it died) and His pc can be REALLY slow. It'll open up the site fast enough, but then when it says "transferring data from XXXX" it takes an age and frequently crashes.

Help! why is it doing this! I need my own PC back before I cold turkey

Ah, I've solved it. Three letters for you... AOL

Just gone into his AOL browser and it's loading it up no problems. So I bet it's AOL fccucking up MOzilla and IE.

Get one, better than PC's imo.

I'm sure they are, when you can get a decent MAC for £500 perhaps I'll consider

And there's the difference... buying a mac or a pc, they'll screw ya for updated software etc
