thats wierd what the royal mint sayed about legal tender, i didnt relise you were restricted on how many coins u use!
similarly there was a cae a few years back where the amount was pay in hundreds of cheques for 1p each, the amount of time and effort it took to clear them cost 1000's .

My mam did the same with poll tax years ago . She had to cash in her holiday pay to pay for it (£1900!!) so she got it all in £1's, 50's,20's,10's,5's and some 2's and 1's and just dumped it on the counter and said have fun!. Its one of the only memories I have at that age lol .
