Partition Manager for a 64-bit OS

is there one that will work and resize (make bigger) partitions in vista 64?
all ones i find wont work on a 64 bit operating system

either free or a demo that has the bit i need working be great thanks

tried that one, it says will only be able to do it if i use the recovery cd tool. i do that, boot from it an all i get is a

. and a # on a black screen

never something i've looked at, however, a 64bit OS has no infulence over the HDD.

i would assume PartitionMagic will do it for you, but dont expect it to be free.

why are you looking to partition your HDD? it is generally not needed

Partition Magic doesn't support Vista. Cos that's what I have.

you probably need a partition program that boots from cd, i'm afriad partitioning isnt something i tend to do mid-build.

If that didn't work look for "Hirens Boot CD" it has a bootable CD and amongst the many usefull utils it has Partition Magic (bootable from CD).

right i just reinstalled nero 7 i got these .iso files. what i do with um

I use alcohol 120 from here - http://trial.alcohol-soft.com/en/alcohol_info.php

set up a virtual DVD drive and you can moun those iso files just as if you have played a disk.

right i just reinstalled nero 7 i got these .iso files. what i do with um

Open Nero. Open the ISO file. Put blank disk in DVD/CD burner and click burn.

"Burn Image to Disc" is what you need to do, tohewise you wil ljust end up with a big iso file on the disc
